This privacy policy is issued by HITS (“HITS”, “we” or “us”), located at Binnendelta 18E, 1261 TA Blaricum, The Netherlands, with an additional office at Cockerillkaai 7, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium. HITS is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

We process personal data that you provide to us, such as:

• Name and organisation
• Email address and phone number
• The content of your message or request
• Technical data such as IP address and browser type (via server logs)

We use your data for the following purposes:

• Responding to your message (performance of a contract or legitimate interest)
• Delivering our services (performance of a contract)
• Meeting legal obligations such as bookkeeping (legal obligation)
• Securing and improving our website (legitimate interest)

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. Contact requests are kept for a maximum of 24 months, unless a client relationship results from them. Financial records are kept for seven years in line with statutory retention obligations.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with processors that support us with hosting, email and administration, and only under a data processing agreement. Transfers outside the EEA take place only with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

HITS takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including encrypted connections, access management and periodic review of our systems.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You may also object to processing and request data portability. Send your request to info@hits.care. We respond within four weeks. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
